NYC's Longest-Running Open Mike!
The 2010 Summer Antifolk Festival will take place at the Sidewalk Cafe August 3-13. The semi-annual event showcases a diverse cast of talented musicians and spoken-word performers, newcomers and veterans alike. New York City’s Antifolk community has been a welcoming launching pad for well-known artists such as Beck, The Moldy Peaches, Jeffrey Lewis, Regina Spektor and Hamell on Trial. Sidewalk has been the scene’s proud stomping ground since 1992.
